The Chrysler Pacifica is quite possibly the most widely accepted minivan on the market today, and it’s going to get even better reviews when the 2021 year model is released. There are a few features for the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica that are worth noting, including a new all-wheel-drive system, a new Uconnect system, and its overall convenience. Here are three reasons to get hyped for the 2021 Pacifica.

1. All-Wheel Drive

Performance is no longer compromised for convenience in the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. The new all-wheel-drive system that’s coming soon in a Pacifica near you is the most advanced of its class. This system is capable of running entirely in front-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive modes and offers new disconnect features for both the rear-drive module and the power transfer unit. The disconnect features prevent the rear driveshaft from spinning while the Pacifica is moving in front-wheel-drive, improving fuel economy and reducing drivetrain losses.

The new all-wheel-drive system uses a brake-lock differential, which applies the brake to any wheel spinning, thus allowing the other wheels with more traction to continue rotating to propel the minivan forward. In essence, this enables the Pacifica to distribute torque cross-car. This system provides seamless and automatic performance and is tuned specifically to the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Along with the all-wheel drive comes a higher ride height, giving you more ground clearance and peace of mind when dealing with inclement weather situations.

2. New Uconnect System

Chrysler’s Uconnect system is tried and true, but who says you can’t improve perfection? The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is getting an impressive upgrade with the new Uconnect system that boasts a largest in class standard 10.1-inch touch-screen. This new system includes the ability to integrate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, so you don’t have to deal with all of those messy cords.

FamCam is an available feature providing an interior camera for monitoring your whole family, including the tiniest passengers who require a rear-facing child seat. There’s also a Uconnect theater available with wireless headphones. This option adds two more 10.1-inch touch-screens, one to the back of both front seats. Your passengers can enjoy games, movies, and more.

3. Overall Convenience

Don’t let the addition of these features fool you into thinking you will lose the Pacifica’s current amenities. Even though there’s a new available ultra console that adds lots of storage compartments and an integrated armrest and an available wireless phone charger, the Pacifica retains all of its previous conveniences. The 2021 model will still have available Stow ‘n Go seating, a hands-free power liftgate, hidden storage throughout, and hands-free power sliding doors.

The best is set to get even better when the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is unleashed on the world. The new all-wheel-drive system will not only allow the Pacifica to traverse rougher terrain but will also draw in new customers to the minivan culture.
