Expanded Engine Lineup
The Ram 2500 has expanded its engine lineup for 2025. The standard engine is a 6.4L HEMI V8 that produces 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
Two diesel options are available: a regular 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I-6 and a High-Output version, which is new for 2025. The High-Output engine delivers 430 horsepower and over 1,000 lb-ft of torque (1,075 to be exact), which enables it to provide a maximum towing capacity of 20,000 pounds when properly equipped. However, even the standard V8 engine is a proficient hauler, with a towing capacity of 17,750 pounds.
Versatile Interior
The Ram 2500 offers multiple cab configurations to suit different passenger and cargo needs. Regular Cab models make excellent work trucks, with their three-person bench seat and open space behind the front row. Crew Cab models enable seating for five or six passengers, as do Mega Cab models. Mega Cab models provide greater rear-seat legroom and storage space, and even have class-exclusive reclining rear seats available.
Buyers who want to drive in luxurious comfort and style will appreciate the high-quality materials and features available on higher trims, such as genuine wood accents, leather upholstery, and front seats that include heating, ventilation, and massaging functions.
Updated Exterior
Several styling updates have been made to the Ram 2500, including new grille designs across the lineup and new paint colors. All models now feature LED headlamps and fog lamps, while LED taillights are an optional feature. An Adaptive Forward Lighting System is also available, which adjusts the direction of the headlights to enable better visibility on curves and inclines.
Bed options include a 6’4″ bed and an 8′ bed. On either, drivers can add the RamBox Cargo Management System to increase their cargo space. This system adds two storage containers integrated into the side bed walls.
More Tech Than Ever
2025 models offer an available, largest-in-class 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. The latest infotainment system includes intuitive controls, wireless smartphone connectivity, a navigation system, and an available Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up to eight devices. The Ram 2500 also features an available, class-exclusive 10.25-inch front passenger display and dual wireless charging pads.
