1. GT
The GT models have a 268-horsepower Hurricane4 turbo engine that provides 295 pound-feet of torque. You’ll also enjoy the control of standard all-wheel drive with torque vectoring and KONI frequency selective damping. Standard tech in the Hornet includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa voice commands, and satellite radio.
The comfortable cabin offers seating for five with combined cloth and leatherette upholstery. You’ll have 27 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear, which more than doubles when you fold down the second row. The GT also has standard remote start and proximity keyless entry.
2. GT Plus
This trim trades the standard 17-inch aluminum wheels for 18-inch Graphite Gray wheels. The GT Plus also incorporates four-piston fixed-caliper Brembo brakes, leather upholstery, 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, a hands-free power liftgate, and a premium 14-speaker Harmon Kardon stereo system in place of the six-speaker audio system in the base model of the Hornet.
3. R/T
The race-inspired R/T trims push the limit with a plug-in turbocharged hybrid powertrain. You’ll experience 288 hp and 383 pound-feet of torque, and you can travel up to 32 miles on a fully charged battery. The R/T model features a distinctive look with dual exhaust tips and lower exterior trim finished in Abyss.
Beyond the powertrain, this Hornet picks up most of its features from the GT trim. You’ll have a bit less cargo space in the R/T models to account for the battery. Add the R/T Blacktop package for the sleek look of gloss black mirror caps and side window moldings along with special model badging.
4. R/T Plus
The R/T Plus combines the upgraded hybrid powertrain with the amenities of the Hornet GT Plus, adding a power sunroof. This model also provides new steering-wheel-mounted aluminum paddle shifters with Power Shot, which gives you a 30-hp boost for up to 15 seconds at a time.
You can upgrade any 2025 Hornet trim with the Track Pack to add the paddle shifters plus adaptive damping suspension, 20-inch wheels with performance tires, and Brembo brakes with red calipers. This package also gives you Alcantara leather upholstery. Additional options include safety tech such as front and rear parking sensors, driver attention monitoring, and speed limit recognition.
