The 2026 Jeep® Grand Cherokee offers two gasoline engines. The 3.6L Pentastar® V6 produces 293 hp and 257 lbs. ft. of torque, delivering smooth, naturally aspirated performance. The new 2.0L Hurricane 4 Turbo increases output to 324 hp and 332 lbs. ft. of torque, combining turbocharged response with substantial pulling strength. Both engines pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission, with available 4WD providing additional traction in challenging conditions.

Properly equipped two-row and three-row models can tow up to 6,200 lbs. Available Selec-Terrain® Traction Management adjusts vehicle behavior for changing surfaces, while Quadra-Trac I® provides automatic four-wheel-drive operation. Summit's Quadra-Drive® II system adds a rear electronic limited-slip differential, complemented by Quadra-Lift® air suspension with semi-active damping. Ground clearance reaches 10.9 inches with the air suspension raised, and the vehicle supports water fording depths up to 24 inches under appropriate conditions.

Two-row models seat 5 passengers and provide 37.7 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 70.8 cu. ft. when folded. Three-row configurations accommodate up to 7 passengers, with 17.2 cu. ft. behind the third row and a maximum of 84.6 cu. ft.
