2025 RAM 3500

The Ram 3500 is available in five trim levels: the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, and Limited. The Tradesman trim includes LED headlamps with signature daytime running lights and LED tail lamps. Its practical, work-oriented exterior showcases an updated grille specific to this trim level. The Big Horn adds new wheel designs while maintaining the LED lighting package, and the Laramie model adds LED fog lamps to the exterior lighting setup. The Limited Longhorn and Limited trims represent the premium offerings, featuring power-telescoping trailer tow mirrors, trim-specific grille designs, and wheel options. These upper trims maintain the full LED lighting package, including the headlamps, tail lamps, and fog lamps. All models have an active air dam that improves aerodynamics.

The 2025 Ram 3500 offers four engine options. The standard 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 generates 405 horsepower. The new 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo engine produces 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque, while the Hurricane High Output version delivers 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. A 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo-Diesel with 430 horsepower and an impressive 1,075 pound-feet of torque delivers enhanced performance. All engines pair with the TorqueFlite HD eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Ram 3500 boasts impressive towing capabilities, with its diesel engine reaching a maximum fifth-wheel towing capacity of 36,610 pounds. The conventional hitch-towing capacity reaches 23,000 pounds. The gas-powered version can carry a payload of up to 7,590 pounds. In the heavy-duty truck segment, the Ram 3500's towing capacity places it competitively among its peers. The Ford Super Duty leads with 40,000 pounds, while the Chevrolet/GMC HD models offer 36,000 pounds of towing capacity.

A 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen display comes standard across all Ram 3500 trims. The Limited and Limited Longhorn trims offer an optional upgrade to a 14.5-inch touchscreen display. These premium trims also feature an available 10.3-inch front passenger display screen for navigation, camera views, and entertainment functions. The truck includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and practical power options with a 2.4-kilowatt power inverter and two 110-volt outlets in the cargo bed. Additional technology features include dual wireless phone chargers and an optional rearview camera mirror.

The 2025 Ram 3500 includes comprehensive safety technologies across all trim levels. Available trailer-specific features include a tire pressure monitoring system and a brake controller with built-in reverse steering control. Additional equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and front and rear parking assistance. The truck offers traffic sign recognition and enhanced lane-keeping assistance. A surround-view camera system provides clear visibility around the vehicle, while trailer reverse guidance and an exterior-mounted auxiliary camera assist with towing operations.
