2023 Jeep Renegade

The entry-level Renegade is now the Latitude. It comes with 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, fog lights, a rear spoiler, and roof rails. Stepping up to the Limited gets you 18-inch wheels, while the Trailhawk has 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The Trailhawk also adds raised suspension, front and rear tow hooks, a full-size spare tire, and underbody skid plates. Jeep offers several packages and options for the Renegade. Depending on which package you add, you can get gloss black exterior trim elements, black-painted wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and LED headlights. The Trailhawk offers the Trailer Tow Group with a Class III hitch and four-pin wiring harness.

Power for all Renegade models comes from a 1.3-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 177 horsepower. It works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Latitude and Limited come with all-wheel drive, and the Trailhawk comes standard with a four-wheel drive system.

The four-cylinder engine has plenty of power for the small Renegade. It can even tow up to 2,000 pounds when equipped with the tow package. The Trailhawk provides exceptional off-road capabilities, making this small SUV the best choice for any driver who plans on taking to the trails.

Inside, there's room for up to five in the Renegade. The cabin has a rugged look with practical features and equipment. The boxy shape of the Renegade makes the cabin feel roomy, and it comes with cloth upholstery. The Convenience Group for the Altitude adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, and a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Step up to the Limited for leather upholstery, and you can add leather to the Trailhawk as an option. An 8.4-inch touchscreen comes standard in the Latitude. It works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes with an integrated navigation system, a six-speaker stereo, and USB ports in the front and back. A 115-volt power outlet is optional, and you can also get an upgraded nine-speaker Kenwood stereo.

Every Renegade comes with several advanced driver aids and safety systems. These include a forward collision warning system with mitigation, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, a lane-departure warning system with mitigation, and trailer sway damping. The Limited now comes standard with adaptive cruise control, and it offers an automated parking system that will steer the Renegade into a parking spot with minimal help from the driver. It also offers rear automatic braking. ParkSense front and rear parking sensors are available for most trims, and you can also get automatic high-beam headlights and roadside assistance.
