2022 Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 is available in two different body shapes and bed lengths. Eight trim levels are offered: the Tradesman, Tradesman HFE, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. You can also choose from a variety of special-edition models, which include new additions such as the sporty Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T Editions and the Big Horn Back Country Edition. The base trim is equipped with 18-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, active grille shutters, and power-adjustable and heated mirrors. Apart from 20-inch aluminum wheels, the Tradesman HFE adds wheel-to-wheel side steps, a Mopar roll-up tonneau, and new trailer hitch lights. With the Big Horn trim, you can expect 18-inch aluminum wheels and fog lights, while the Laramie trim comes with LED exterior lighting and power-folding mirrors with memory. The off-road-ready Rebel trim is equipped with off-road fender flares, a performance hood, a locking rear axle, and 33-inch multi-terrain tires. With the Limited trim, you get 20-inch aluminum wheels, a spray-in bed liner, a dual rear exhaust with bright tips, and front tow hooks. Power running boards and a four-corner air suspension are added with the Limited trim, while the TRX features a performance hood with a Black-Out decal and a black powder-coated front bumper.

Four robust powertrains are offered with the Ram 1500. An output of 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque is generated by the base 3.6-liter engine, while an available 5.7-liter V-8 engine produces 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The TRX trim is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine that provides a massive output of 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, diesel power is delivered by a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine that produces 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission comes standard across the board. You can opt for either a rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive system on most trims.

The Ram 1500 is built around a high-strength steel frame, which provides stiffness and durability. Because of this strong framework, the truck has an impressive towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of up to 2,300 pounds. Towing with the Ram 1500 is also made easy with available features such as a 360-degee trailer surround-view camera and a trailer-reverse steering control system.

The cabin of the Ram 1500 is the most luxurious in its class. Apart from premium materials and modern features, you receive spacious and comfortable seats, especially if you opt for a Crew Cab. The new available Uconnect 5C infotainment system comes with a massive 12-inch display, an Alpine nine-speaker premium audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and navigation. Other available features include heated and ventilated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated second-row seats, and leather upholstery.

Stay safe on the road with available driver-assist features such as a blind-spot monitor with cross-path detection, a park-assist system, forward-collision warning with active braking, and a surround-view camera.
