2021 Ram 1500

The 2021 Ram 1500 is available in either a quad-cab or a crew-cab body style. The former comes with a long bed, while the latter features either a long or a short bed. You can also choose from among seven available trim levels: the Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Long Horn, Limited Longhorn Edition, and TRX. The base trim is equipped with 18-inch steel wheels, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, halogen headlights, and a locking tailgate. The standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine produces 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque, while an available 5.7-liter V-8 engine has an output of 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The robust diesel-powered turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine generates 260 horsepower and a best-in-class 480 pound-feet of torque. Last, but not least, the TRX's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine produces 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The new TRX trim offers impressive performance and off-road capability. This truck delivers a reinforced frame, a specialized suspension, 35-inch tires, a high-performance dual exhaust, and a 2-inch chassis lift. You'll also get upgraded brakes, an electronic locking differential, a high-performance induction system, and five under-body skid plates. In addition, the TRX trim offers multiple selectable drive modes that provide customized settings for different driving conditions: Sport, Snow, Custom, Mud and Sand, Rock, and Baja modes.

Depending on the trim you opt for, the cabin of the 2021 Ram 1500 can range from utilitarian to luxurious. The Tradesman trim is ideal if you're looking for a work vehicle that offers the basics. Standard features include a 5-inch display, six speakers, Bluetooth, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and an electric parking brake. Higher trims add a long list of conveniences, such as an infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, satellite radio, and navigation. Other available features include a 12-inch display, a wireless charging pad, heated and ventilated seats, premium leather upholstery, and dual-zone automatic temperature control.
