2021 Jeep Wrangler

The 2021 Jeep Wrangler is available in four main trims: the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. You can also choose between a classic two-door Wrangler and a four-door Unlimited model, which is available only with the Sahara trim. In addition, the new model year adds a list of limited-edition Wrangler models. These models include the Willys, Willys Sport, High Altitude, Islander, 80th Anniversary Edition, Freedom Edition, Sport Altitude, and the Sahara Altitude. The 2021 Wrangler offers multiple powertrains. The standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine, available with an eTorque mild-hybrid system, produces 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This engine can be paired with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. For a more spirited performance, opt for the available 2.0-liter turbo engine that generates 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The lineup also includes a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 engine, which delivers an output of 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Last, the new Jeep Wrangler features a plug-in powertrain, which consists of the 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors. The powertrain delivers a combined output of 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Except for the base engine, all other engines come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a highly regarded off-road vehicle, and the 2021 model is set to continue this reputation. This trim features a standard Rock-Trac 4x4 system, which includes a 4-1 low-gear ratio, Tru-Lok electronic locking front and rear differentials, and an electronic front sway bar disconnect.
