2021 Jeep Compass

The exterior design of the 2021 Jeep Compass combines the iconic rugged Jeep look with a sleek, modern aesthetic. The new model year introduces five trendy new paint options, including Colorado Red, Italy Blue, and Techno Green. This crossover is available in five trim levels: the Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. An 80th Anniversary Edition, based on the Latitude trim, is a new inclusion for this model year. This special edition model adds luxuries such as Granite Crystal 19-inch wheels. Standard features include the Jeep signature seven-slot grille, halogen headlights, 16-inch steel wheels, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, and a rear lip spoiler. The Latitude trim adds 17-inch aluminum wheels, roof rails, automatic headlights, and fog lights, while the Altitude trim features gloss-black exterior accents. With the Limited trim, you'll get mirrors with turn-signal indicators and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The Trailhawk trim, ready for off-road adventures, adds a range of impressive standard features.

Each Jeep Compass trim has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. Except for the Trailhawk trim, which features a standard four-wheel-drive system, all trims come standard with front-wheel drive. You can, however, opt for an available four-wheel-drive system with these trims. Front-wheel-drive models feature a six-speed automatic transmission, while four-wheel-drive models come with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

If you're an avid off-road enthusiast, opt for the Trailhawk trim, which proudly wears the Trail Rated badge. This trim delivers impressive standard features for off-roading, such as underbody skid plates, off-road tires, a raised suspension, tow hooks, and hill descent control. The trim also features a standard class-exclusive Selec-Terrain Traction Management System, which provides convenient driver-selectable modes. These modes include Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud, and Rock. In addition, the 2021 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is equipped with the Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 System, which includes a 20-to-1 crawl ratio.

The cabin of the Jeep Compass is spacious for a vehicle of its size and provides comfortable seating for up to five passengers. This SUV also provides a generous cargo area with a cargo floor that you can adjust up and down to suit your needs. Apart from its ease of use, the standard infotainment system is well equipped with features such as a 7-inch display, six speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and USB ports. Other standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and cloth upholstery. The 2021 Jeep Compass has received a four-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). For an even safer drive, opt for available driver-assist systems such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Other available systems include forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist.
