2020 Jeep Gladiator

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is available in different models, the Sport, Sport S, Overland, and top-of-the-line, Rubicon. The exterior includes two signature options, a zipperless soft top, and an aluminum hardtop. Both are simple to detach and the soft top can even be removed with one hand. The 17-inch steel wheels are standard for the Sport version and aluminum wheels come standard on the Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon models. The highlight of the exterior styling is the flatbed in the rear that adds a significant amount of cargo space and makes this vehicle a mid-size pickup.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 24V VVT Engine with ESS that makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard with an optional eight-speed automatic 850RE transmission. The 4:1 Rock-Trac heavy-duty part-time 4WD system is available on the Sport, Sport S and Overland models while the Command-Trac part-time 4WD system along with an impressive performance suspension is only available on the Rubicon.

The 2020 Gladiator comes with a solid, five-link rear suspension. It is versatile when handling difficult maneuvers and shifts comfortably from performing like a pickup truck to an off-road vehicle. The ride and handling are further improved when weight is added to the bed. It is a truck made for hauling in extreme environments.

Inside the Gladiator, there is an upright dashboard with simple, easy to use controls. There is a push-start button that is waterproof, and other optional features like a heated steering wheel and also heated front seats for those chilly mornings. The stretched wheelbase gives added legroom for the backseat passengers and new ingenious options for storage. For example, there are thoughtfully placed spots for handheld devices and a hidden compartment under the back seat. The back seats can be folded down for even more cargo space. Some exciting features of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator are the waterproof push-button start, and touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on the larger 7.5” and 8.4” displays. The standard 8-speaker stereo can be upgraded to include a booming subwoofer and portable Bluetooth wireless speaker that gets stored conveniently behind the back seat.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a host of safety features. Advanced multistage airbags in the front, anti-lock heavy-duty brakes, electronic roll mitigation, and stability control, and hill start assist all come standard on all models. All models also come with theft-deterrent systems and traction control. The Rubicon model comes with a front-facing camera that is very useful while crawling over rocks.
