2019 Dodge Charger

The 2019 Charger has five trim levels to pick from: SXT, GT, R/T, Scat Pack, and SRT Hellcat. The SXT offers the best price, and while it has fewer features it still has a potent engine worthy of the Charger name. The R/T delivers an engine and feature upgrades, and the Scat Pack has its own engine and a standard air scoop on the hood. The SRT tops the list with the most powerful engine available, the Hellcat. You can also get better features with the Plus package and a unique appearance with the Daytona package.

For 2019, the Dodge Charger has a set of four engine options. The base trim has a 3.6-liter V-6 that engine delivers up to 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi, and it offers 370 horsepower with 395 pound-feet of torque. Scat Pack models move up to a 6.4-liter V-8 Hemi and generate up to 485 horsepower with 475 pound-feet of torque. Then there's the Hellcat, a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that uses a supercharger to provide 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Most trims are rear-wheel drive, but the SXT can come with all-wheel drive.

Full-size sedans tend to have potent engines, but the 2019 Charger goes above and beyond. Not only can you choose from four powerful engines, the higher trims also come with parts upgrades that improve the handling and braking. Top trims also come with track systems like Line Lock, Launch Assist, and an After-Run Chiller that keeps the coolant moving through the engine after you shut it off so it can cool down properly. The SRT also has an adaptive suspension that lets you choose between comfort and performance.

The 2019 Dodge Charger has the interior space you'd expect from a full-size sedan, including plenty of room for backseat passengers and a trunk with 16.5 cubic feet for cargo. Depending on the trim and packages, you can also expect a list of premium features that includes a BeatsAudio 10-speaker audio system, an infotainment system with an 8.4-inch screen and navigation, and front-row seats with both heating and ventilation.
