2023 Jeep Wrangler in Highland Park, MI
Off-road enthusiasts have enjoyed driving the Jeep Wrangler since it was first introduced in 1987. Jeep keeps making the Wrangler more and more capable for off-road use while adding modern styling and technology to this beloved SUV.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Jeep offers the 2023 Wrangler in two versions with multiple trims. Choose the two-door Wrangler model and you have the Sport, Rubicon, Willy Sport, Sport S, Willys, and Altitude trims. If you want the four-door version, called the Wrangler Unlimited, you get the same trims with the addition of the Sahara, Rubicon 392, and the hybrid 4xe.
For the exterior styling, Jeep honors the design that makes the Wrangler so recognizable with its round headlights and large seven-slot grille. This versatile SUV can come with a hardtop or different styles of soft tops to suit your lifestyle. All trims and models of the Wrangler have removable doors and a windshield that can lay flat.
Engine (Power)
Depending on how you plan on using your Wrangler, you have several engines to choose from, ranging from the base 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine pumping out 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. If you choose the mighty Rubicon 392 trim, you'll get a 6.4-liter V-8 delivering 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.
Hybrid aficionados will appreciate the Wrangler 4xe's turbocharged engine mated with an electric motor that makes an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission completes the Wrangler's powertrain.
Performance
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is made for off-road performance. Of course, the Wrangler drives smoothly in the city and down the freeway, but most Jeep owners relish the off-road capability of this SUV. Jeep offers three four-wheel-drive systems for the 2023 Wrangler, including Command-Trac, Select-Trac, or Rock-Trak. Certain trims come with Selec-Speed Control which regulates the speed of the Jeep when ascending or descending steep slopes. Serious off-road enthusiasts often choose the Rubicon 392 trim for their backcountry adventures, as it comes standard with the Rock-Trac system and a 4-to-1 low gear ratio.
Interior
Rugged on the outside and comfortable on the inside, the 2023 Wrangler has impressive interior features. The two-door Wrangler has two rows of seats that can fit up to four people, and the four-door Wrangler Unlimited has two rows of seats that can fit up to five people. You'll find easy-to-clean cloth seats on the lower Wrangler trims, and as you move up the trims, you get attractive features like leather upholstery and heated front seats.
Jeep's Uconnect infotainment system comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and available Amazon Alexa compatibility. Additional technology features include remote keyless entry, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and navigation.
Safety Features
Jeep equips the 2023 Wrangler for off-road travel and also adds available driver-assist technology to all trims. Key features include parking assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. You'll also appreciate the available automatic high-beam headlights and automatic emergency braking.
